When I open a database in Microsoft Access 2000, the error 'ActiveX component can't create object' appears.
Either you have the wrong version of an important file, or it is improperly registered. Locate the file dao360.dll in c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dao and replace it with the one on the Office 2000 CD in the Pfiles\Common\Msshared\Dao folder. Click Start, Run, and run the command: regsvr32.exe c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dao\dao360.dll.
